The Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm is being developed by Inch Cape Offshore Limited (ICOL), a joint venture between ESB and Red Rock Renewables. Located in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland, approximately 15 kilometers from shore, the planned site covers an area of about 150 square kilometers with water depths ranging from 40 to 60 meters. The project has a total installed capacity of 1,080 MW and plans to install 72 Vestas V236-15.0 MW offshore wind turbines.
It is projected to generate approximately 5 terawatt-hours (equivalent to 5 billion kilowatt-hours) of clean electricity annually, sufficient to meet the electricity needs of over 1.6 million Scottish households. This makes it one of the largest offshore wind projects currently under construction in the UK.
Our zinc-aluminum alloy wire has undergone independent third-party testing, confirming its composition and performance fully meet the project’s technical requirements. It has successfully entered the project’s supply chain system, providing reliable material support for construction.
